Investment properties go under the hammer

Buy-to-Let residential landlords looking for investments will be studying the opportunities on offer at Blundells’ first auction of 2009 in Sheffield.

Sixteen lots will be going under the hammer at Sheffield Park Hotel, Chesterfield Road South, on Tuesday, 17 February. Price guides range between £20,000 and £165,000.

The 16 properties are located throughout the region from Chesterfield to Rotherham and Lodge Moor to Meersbrook and include a three bedroom mid terrace, a three bed semi detached and a nine bedroom investment property on Abbeydale Road.

Andrew Winter, Blundells Auction House Director, said: “Last year proved that investors and owner occupiers are recognising the benefits of buying a property at auction.

“We are very pleased to offer a variety of lots in our first auction in 2009 and have already seen a rise in the number of viewings booked in comparison to last year.

“We are planning seven auctions this year and already have a number of lots lined up for our next auction on 7 April

The auction starts at 2pm on Tuesday, 17 February, at Sheffield Park Hotel, Chesterfield Road South.
